Scott Jens, OD, FAAO

Scott Jens, OD, FAAO, received his Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree with Honors from ICO after performing his undergraduate work at the University of Wisconsin – Madison.  Dr. Jens is an industry visionary and leader, both in clinical practice and software technology.  For the first 25 years of his career, he was a partner/owner and provided comprehensive eye care services in a multi-doctor/multi-location practice in Wisconsin.  Thereafter he became co-founder and CEO of RevolutionEHR, which became the leading cloud-based comprehensive optometry practice management and health record software system.  Since retirement in 2018, he has been an executive business coach helping dozens of companies with brand strategy, culture enhancement, and operational improvements to deliver the greatest impact for their customers.  His current volunteer works finds him serving as the 2023-2025 Chair of the Board of Trustees at the Illinois College of Optometry (ICO).
